2. Assumption of Risk

By purchasing or using the McPeak Wedge, the user acknowledges and agrees that:

Heavy-Duty Application: The tool is intended for use by trained professionals in specific tactical, industrial, or emergency environments.

Metal-on-Metal Striking: Striking metal tools with high force can result in the discharge of metal fragments, sparks, or tool failure.

Mandatory PPE: Users must wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times, including but not limited to ANSI Z87.1+ rated eye protection, heavy-duty gloves, and protective clothing.

3. Proper Use and Maintenance

NW Firetools is not responsible for injuries or damages resulting from:

Misuse: Using the wedge for tasks outside its engineered scope.

Modified Tools: Any alteration, grinding, or welding performed on the tool by the user.

Improper Striking: Using damaged hammers or failing to strike the tool’s designated "sweet spot" squarely.

Lack of Inspection: Failure to inspect the tool for "mushrooming," cracks, or fatigue before each use.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NW Firetools and its affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the McPeak Wedge. This includes, but is not limited to, medical expenses, lost wages, or structural damage incurred during the operation of the tool.
